Second phase looks like something a modder made lol like Unalloyed Malenia. Completely over the top cheap spam, disappointing in both gameplay and lore. I didn't think Gael could be surpassed, but it was only bad lote wise, gameplay was excellent and his character arc was set up from the first DLC. Radahn here just came out of nowhere. Why not fully restored Godwyn instead? Wasn't Miquella intending to save him on the base game? What a disappointment, first souls game I just looked up the ending online.
